If you catch a bee and put it in the freezer it will freeze and you can tie a piece  cotton around one of its legs and it will unfreeze and you can have your own pet bee on a string.  Why doesnt the bee die when you freeze it, i dont understand!!

PS if your going to try this then heres some tips:
1. use a tupperware container with a tiny bit of sugar water in it for the intial catch
2.wear gloves
3. the bee/wasp will eventually attempt to fly away so hard it will pull off its own leg leaving it free to sting you

I know magicians use this technique to give the appearance of bringing dead flys to life. They don't freeze them though but put them in the fridge which knocks them out.....when placed in the hand the warmth revives them and they fly away.

Quite a few insects and animals survive being frozen...the reason why ?...they have a natural antifreeze inside them which protects them.

Incidentally... I love stroking Bees.....you grab a dandelion or other type bee loving flower,
hold it next to a beesy pollen collecting Bee and when Bee lands on it, it's so beesy collecting
pollen, that you can stroke it's furry back !!!...my kids love me doing this....try it...
but don't blame me if it stings you !!..I mean, they have to Bee really peeved to do
that anyway eh
