Can you decrease the rate of moustache growing during puberty?

I think the only way to suppress beard growth would be to manipulate male hormones, and this would also alter puberty and quite probably give the young gentleman a nice set of female breasts. I am sure that there is a way to do this in our science fiction future but otherwise, in our current real world, why bother?
