what brand of lemon myrtle did you buy?

newbielink:http://www.libertynatural.com [nonactive]   - you can order online, or you even can call and order.  They are out of Oregon, and are actually much cheaper than anyplace else.

I looked around and this place is the cheapest and its in the United States.

How did you dilute the lemon myrtle? Did you have a separate container, just added one drop of lemon myrtle then two drops of olive oil, dipped the cotton pad into it? Thank you for the help!

I just had another little bottle.  I bought a big 8 oz bottle of lemon myrtle and then used a dripper to move it from one bottle to the other.  Its a small probably 1 oz bottle.  I'd fill it up about 1/3 with myrtle and then just full up the rest with the olive oil.  I noticed that when I put the oil mix directly onto a cotton swab it would absorb quickly.  So I started to put some of the colloidal silver water on to the cotton swab first, and then apply the oil blend.  It would also go on smoother.

i caught it this summer (i think from swimming/towels) - it was thro this forum and a few others that helped me to shift it quickly, here are my "rules" for dealing with

1) this is a war of attrition against the virus, keep this in mind
2) try and avoid any unnecessary contact with the lesions (that is how they spread)
3) as soon as you see one emerging it needs to be lanced with a sterilised pin or needle and squeeze it hard to extract the puss - this keeps em at bay
4) avoid long baths or anything that keep em moist, (they like water)
5) dry thoroughly after showering with a clean towel, immediately put the towel into laundry to avoid spreading to family members
6) sprinkle amply with cuticura medicated talc at least twice daily and certainly after showering - it has zinc and magnesium in addition to its drying qualities as a talc which combats the virus - also, after you`ve lanced the spots with a pin (point 3 above), rub the cuticura talc vigorously into it
7) avoid alcohol and anything that might interfere with your immunity,  take a vitamin supplement including zinc and magnesium tablets (at least double the recommended daily dose)
8) i went on a thuji30 anti-fungal supplement tablets (£5 holland & barratt), went thro 2 containers of these pills - i think it may have helped
9) try not to get too anxious, this takes time and you wont get better til your immunity has kicked out the virus

using the above method i shifted it in about 7 weeks (i had two major attacks of the lesions and then they died down a bit, gradually fizzling out)

hope this helps

I just started taking thuja 30x pills and also an antioxidant multivitamin as well as echinacea pills.  I have been applying zymaderm to the lesions for a couple months now with limited sucess, new ones popping up...  Havent been drinking alcohol, and I dont smoke so I do not worry about that.  Been 5 months with these things and some have appeared on my neck out of no where.  Im hoping boosting the immune system will work.  I have also thought of fasting/detox since it is believed if you let your digestive system rest it lets your body use that energy for the immune system.

I've been wondering if I really do have molluscom.  I've always read that the bumps have puss in them, however, I've pooped quite a few over the months and have yet to see any puss.  Only clear fluid like from a blister.  Also, I don't remember seeing the characteristic indent in the bump centers.. can it be that this could be something else, is this also common with molluscom?
thanks!

I saw my dermatologist and he changed his diagnosis.  He said the behavior of the lesions didn't match those of molluscom.  He said it could be excema.  He gave me this cream to put on and it has been working wonders!  My gosh I spent some much time and money of the assumption it was mollusc with nothing working. I was about to take a darn torch to the skin... argh!  But it feels so good now that I see the light!

Well I have some questions. I was just told I have this in a STD form. I have never had this in my life. I wanted to know can a person who does not take showers everyday or wears dirty clothes from the ground be a carrier of this virus? He also has a bad mouth problem, his teeth are falling out and looks like he has an infection. He is just not a clean person and since I was checked before I met him and I have not been with anyone but him, I think I got it from him. If I am trying to let it run the course and then go out of my system, would he just reinfect everyone or me even if I have no sex?

Well myself I was told I had this but no one not even my boyfriend of two years has it. I saw it about a yr ago and it has not got worse. I can't pick them off since they do not come off. It is like a mole but lighter. I do not know what to do. I really think the doctor is wrong. I have always been checked and clean so why out of the blue would this happen. Then I wanted to know if there are no bumps in the back of me can I have anal or is oral allowed. I am losing my boyfriend and this is part of it.

Please anyone let me know.

seems to me that any physical contact with the type of person you describe should be avoided until they clean their act up - for what it`s worth i understand that you can get reinfected though i dont understand how they can diagnose that you have an "std" variety of molluscum - reading through your later post it doesnt sound like typical molluscum appearance  - have you attended a GUM clinic for expert opinion?

No I have not. I just went to the OB/GYN. I am going to get a second opinion but as for the relationship that is done. I was told that I am obsessing on it and it is not needed.... So I will get the second  look at and deal with this. It is just upsetting since it is on me and I have no idea how. Thanks for the post.

regarding the molluscum you may find as i did that (regardless of how you caught it) you`ll get better service from the gum clinic, they seem to know what they are doing and can also burn or etch the lesions off there and then - with any luck that may be the last you`ll see of them apart from some minor temporary scarring

and good luck, finishing your relationship -  these things take a lot of sticking to but it will get better with time; just try and stick to your descision

My son has molluscum contagiosum and we are using an antiviral treatment that really works from a trusted, local, natural health store.  It's an oil applied 2x's per day and after 2 treatments, they were shrinking!  No prescription or burning or freezing.  Please write liberty1@fuse.net for the product info.

Tea tree oil works about 20% of the time, however when it is combined with small amounts of iodine, the success rate is over 85%! This is reported in US Patent # 7,311,928 for a homeopathic product called ZymaDerm, available at newbielink:http://www.molluscum-contagiosum.net [nonactive].

I think I have had this for years , I have had skin colored bumps on my inner thighs for at least 10 years and a derm doc said it was nothing. I now know it is molluscum and since I have started to treat it , now it is going everywhere like it is angry. Yes, I have been tested for HIV and all neg. I have read on here that it goes away on its own and wonder if anyone else has has it this long. It really doesn't get real red and angry as been described on here but I have had a couple I could sqeeze, most are like a wart and yes I know they are molluscum. I have read a lot on here about the lemon oil. I would like to see if any adults have had success with it. This is awful and you feel very loney with it. I am glad I found this site. Any help would be a blessing.

Hello, I am new to this form and I believe that I have MC. I have it on my genital region about 10 bumps And have had it for 2 weeks now. I do not have any STD's I was recently tested for the works and I was negative. And to my luck 3 days later I noticed a small bump near my pubic region.. I have had sex with anyone in months, but I have read about the incubation period for the damn virus. I was going to go to the doctor but honestly after finally convincing myself that I do not have HPV (that is what scared me the most!) and doing hours of research & looking at pictures and coming to the conclusion that the doctor's cannot do a damn thing.. That is the depressing part I think about the whole thing is because we all go to the doctor for them to heal us but then we go and they tell us just wait 2 years and it will clear up...  So what is the verdict of the lemon myrtle oil?? From the looks of it it cant hurt to try it. Any new information out there? thanks

Hi guys. I had/well still sort of have it but not to the extent it was. I had it on my crotch, at the start it was just 2 pimply looking spots, gave them a week or so to see if they would dissapear but they didnt. Went to a doc, she said I had molluscum and said they were harmless and they'd go away themselves and prescribed a cream called "warticon" which didnt do much. I used it and used it but it spread. It really got me down, so I followed a guys instructions on here (username crazed121)

My dermatologist showed me how-to do it properly. I was trying to pop them like a pimple but the way to do it is take your thumbnails, get as far under one of the bumps as far as you can, close them together tightly and pull up still pinching your thumbnails together until the white core comes out. The only way you'll know if it's been popped correctly is if bleeding occurs. It's a little painfull and messy but a day or two later their completely gone.

For the record I'm almost certain i got it from an unprotected sexual encounter  [:(]

I know its not a well constructed post, but I'd thought id have my say.

cheers  [:)]

My 4 year old daughter's molluscum cleared up totally within a few weeks of dabbing on Australian lemon  myrtle oil with a cotton bud.  I diluted it 1 part to 10 in olive oil, and just put it on morning and night. The first ever spot, on her belly, which was different in quality to the others, more of a warty type thing, we squeezed out (slightly traumatic few seconds!!)and it seemed like that made it stop spreading too. We used to call it the 'mothership'!! just because it seemed that it had started off the whole thing.  I got the idea for the lemon myrtle oil off this forum a while ago, looked it up on wikipedia, (backhousia citriodora) and that was that. Have a look for your own supplier, I don't want to recommend one in case I get accused of working for a company or something! Good luck.
