It's Spring! Yippee!

The thaw has started and the winds are blowing, so much so that a friggin' enormous Ponderosa Pine came up by the roots and totalled a quarter mile of our power lines. Of course, it also took out the TV, phone and Internet for three days.

Nice blue sky, with billowy white clouds, cool and breezy today, but ...better then just blatantly overcast skies. I am ready for spring and today is the last day of winter here but seems pretty cold still.
I have had an invasion of ants and flies.. I have been swatting flies and killing ants for weeks now! Maybe the change in weather will help me get rid of all the ants... e-gads they are annoying!

The last 4 day have been a real whirlwind and I am happy today is here, cause: Me thought I was not gonna make it through the weekend! Everything that ever needed anything done to it, had to happen and my body had no break, and every time I turned around something else needed tending till I basically ovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvver-tended everything including me... Now I am just plain tuckered out, out of it,burned out, blown out,worn out,far out, left out, knocked out, down and out, and totally out of sight!! :-)

Hate to tell ya' but we're coming on to fall here. It's cooled down to the low 80's, which is a nice break!

It's been like 95 for the last 5 months solid.

We don't get many of those billowy clouds though, which I miss.

Summer is still never ending, but still in the low 30's most days. Humidity up around the 75% mark, currently 28C and 75% at 9PM indoors. I might have to use the AC sometime.

30 degrees Celsius = 86 degrees Fahrenheit

Google has a nifty calculator you can use to convert measurements with...............

I used to live in a town where year round it was over 100F up to 110 in summer.

Year round... eeek gads...Thats hot! I like about 86 degrees Fahrenheit! Nice no coat comfortable clothes and the ability to cool off if needed...

In winter we wore jerseys and complained about the cold, whilst the tourists came visiting from upcountry and dropped dead from heatstroke.

LOL...LOL...that's funny I see the opposite here in winter...tourists come tonothern california..thing hot LLC year round but it is dismal and cold and wet and foggy here in the winter...many nights of freezing and below temps...they mistake us for southern california...LOL...
