I had one embarrasing moment today actually. I tied my dog to an advertising sign while i went in the offy to get some cider and the little git ran off down the road with it. If i had'nt run after him as quick as i did he would have been squished by a car - He's only 6 months old with no road sense.

Thanks very much moonfire. I am sad really, trust me - I make up for my lack of education by going down the gym, lol.

Why do you feel that a lack of education makes you less than a person?  You are very bright and strong in your belief's so I am sure you can go far as long as you stretch the knowledge you have and add to it if you like?

Oh, Dan, Love that Pro Plus look too!  Woo Hoo...there is something about your eyes..very hypnotic

Hey Andy Lorettas right.. My mother taught herself through reading everthing she could get her hands on that interested her, one interest led to another like a web or chain reaction... She only attended school through the eighth grade... She taught herself everything else.. She was one of the most intelligent people I have ever known and would rival anyone here in this forum with the knowledge she possed...History , Scienc Biology physics, astronomy, you name it and she could tell you almost anything you ever needed to know... She amazed me...I was always in awe of her ability to continuely expand her mind.. I find myself in that boat now. I wish I had started young like her as I could have understood so much more about everything around me including me!
Don't feel bad ly you are very Bright and I admire that! Just keep learning about what you like!! You'll do great!!

When I was in college I had a 7am english class.  One morning I was running late and ran into the classroom.  I was wearing high heals and on the way in, my heel got caught in the door jamb and I fell flat on my face.  The only seat available was at the front of the class.  I stood up, brushed myself off and walked to the front of the class, as they all stood up and applauded....I was mortified!

LOL, Thats embarrassing to fall down in front of someone.

One time at the preschool, I went out to be on yard patrol with the kids LOL.. and one of the teachers from across the playground tried to say something to me about a child, she was a bit away from me so I continued to walk straight ahead, except I turned my face towards her to better hear her. started to talk to her, and suddenly it was as if the earth swallowed me. I was talking at her height when suddenly I dropped out of the conversation quite literally and physically. You see we have this big drain hole so the water does not stand on the playground, and so we as teachers found it to be a hazard because it allowed a huge gapping hole someone could hurt!!! So being the ingenious teachers that we are, We bought a huge pot and filled it with a Giant Jade plant and put it over the drain, which was great problem solved. It took two of us teachers to move the pot! LOL... Well we happened to have a couple really robust beefy little boys who decided to take it upon themselves to see what lied beneath the pot! So they were able to have moved the pot to a new Location.. LOL I was not looking and the next thing I knew, I was in the drain like a bad comedy!! BLAB BLAB BLAB BOOM!!!! I was so embarrassed My friend I was talking to couldn't quit laughing and saying are you ok..LOL sorry I am laughing! LOL  I twisted me ankle and bruised me ego a bit.. But I was fine... the kids were shocked, none of them laughed... Just me Katie Friend..LOL I miss her!..LOL I felt so silly!  You know like the Mario game BLINK BLINK BLINK BLINK Plop..errrrrrrrp!  It was bad.. LOL

Sorry Tony! What class were you in? Do you all have computers at your desks or is it just set up as a room full of computers?
