This is so true. All environments that surround us are directly affecting our behavior, clutter affects directly to the human being causing stress, depression and resentment due to the disharmony that surround them. This is a good example of that.

As a schoolteacher it is common knowledge that graffiti in schools almost always appear near existing graffiti. The policy at the schools in which I worked was to remove them immediately. This kept the school relatively clean and graffiti free, but the graffiti always came back after some weeks or months. I wasn't aware of the connection with racial intolerance though.
