Well, it's good to know that the pillars of the establishment (Strauss-Kahn) might have something in common with those who seek to demolish the pillars of the establishment (Assagne).

Do you think they would get along alright if they had to share the same cell?

Of course, it's entirely possible that this is simply a case of reciprocal collateral damage.

I am sure you mean common interests in matters political and financial, chaps. I also hear that they have both been arrested on other matters but, as not yet found guilty, nothing much should really be said about it, in writing, without risk of libel.

The word "allegedly" is useful :-)

Quite so.

As I pointed out, in both cases, they may have been set up by unknown interests who might seek their downfall.

That's what I like about the U.S. You can slander anyone you want and for the most part get away with it. There are no statutes except in civil court where i takes a bundle of money even to file suite.
