Dearest Chums of Academic Propensity & most certainly of My Admiration,

What's the difference between a fungus and mould ? (for the wonderful peeps that are the Americans amongst us......mould = mold...phew !!..glad I cleared that up)...

....Is there a difference ?...is a mushroom a mould ?..or just a fungi ?..they are related yes ?

Some of my best friends are fungus and the will be offended to be linked on the same page as mould.

The Kingdon Fungi includes molds
but most mold don't produce fruits (ie. mushrooms)

it has to do with their life cycle
many molds are asexual
but mushrooms are produced sexually though.
(with hapliods into dipliods, but not mushroom humping [])
