ok the pharmisists at rite-aid said that the only thing they could find in it waz a type of strong alchol but there is also other ingredients in it but they didn't figure out what they were. they too a sample and r still trying 2 figure it out. that's another plan that failed...any other ideas guys and girls???

It is probably french polish or a spirit based woodstain.  This is a solution of shellac in ethyl alcohol or methylated spirits it is used like varnish for protecting and decorating woodwork.  It was popular in the 1950's and earlier but only a restorer of old furnature would know about it now.

You never said if there were any markings or labels on the bottle....since i know you get a little technical in wording I will ask this first...are there ANY markings at all on it or labels or writting ect... was it with any other stuff? Did you really find a bottle at all...lolol?

As a previous post mentioned...go to a college or even your highschool and have a chemist research it...you have to be careful as you know your skin what it did to it, and then drinking it...a thick gooey substance...ick!
