Learn from me... (the voice of reason....HA !)

When in a hotel and about to have a shower, don't do what I did.

Turn the shower on first then go and get undressed.

Result...a lake in the bathroom !!...soaking wet towels, loo rolls,  the entire bathroom soaking....eveything......[].

..I had turned the shower head towards the wall and the pressure must have turned it away !!...it's most embarassing at 2am to call the reception for some dry loo rolls and towels !!!


What silly things have YOU done that I can learn from ?

Heres one for you Neil. about twenty years ago, give or take, I am driving along in town,when all of a sudden, I realize, halfway through an intersection that I just ran a stop sign. So most people would just say ...it! But no, I stopped right in the middle of the intersection, said, "oh my gosh I ran a stop sign." Panicked and looking around for a cop, I shoved the old beast into reverse and backed up to the stop sign and made sure I stopped then proceded on my way. Thank goodness I was alone in the car, and I did not hit anyone. I tell you this in hopes that it can't be put off as a thing only a women would do, although I did it! After it was all said and done, I was embarrased as heck, but I have never run a stop sign again!

It is great to have you back Neil. Isn't that funny how the shower went nuts, I tell you sir you have a way with showers. The curtain won't leave you alone and now the water is following you out of the shower. I swear its your magnetic personality! I bet you were just hoping a beautiful red head would bring the sundries up to your room! How long did it take her to get it cleaned up Neil!  How was the veiw? HEHEHE! Yes, Neil.  It is great to have you back...and you do seem to have a shower thing?  I have plenty of silly things I have done and don't feel so bad when I see one of your classics here...One of mine is similar...I forgot to turn the showerhead away while preparing for a shower, so I turned on the water and ended up very soaked as well as shocked.

Probably running into a tree was mine. I was at a mates house, been there several times before and knew the tree had a low branch. Well there were some kids messing about in the school on the otherside to my friends garden so we went to chase them off. I forgot about the branch and after running straight into it layed on the floor a little dazed and confused as to what happened. My friends found the whole thing funny of course.

But I have done several silly things before, most when I have had a little too much drink, and finding out that ET does not recieve collect calls

I did a similar thing running into a tree that I knew was there and then fell over into a patch of stinging nettles. Ouch.It hurt a lot !
