Has anyone done that thing when you walk into a glass door (like a patio door) when you thought there was no door there ?

We have an overhang post just inside our school gate! I will come in that gate and get mobed by 20 or thirty kids wanting hugs at the same time, so must drop down and hug one and all, which is so nice, but every time I stand back up to turn around to go inside, I walk right square into that post! It has been the cause of numerous bumps omn my forehead! Now wouldn't you thinik that something that causes such grief and pain, might make you remember the post every day!!! Ahh but no!!! I must hit it like clock work!! Geesh!

Does it count that I fell before reaching stairs yesterday and slid down them  I have a huge bruise on the front of my leg and it is very swollen...no reason, but my big feet???

My husband did that one night at someone elses house.  He hit it so hard he fell back on the ground.  I laughed my a** off.  No wait, it's still there.[]

Ouch indeed. When you know the blasted thing is there but still run into it, then it's quite embarrassing.

But to go with you stinging nettle patch, my cousin, for his birthday decided he wanted to try scrambling (motor bike) and a small group of us went along. Great day, then he sped up to overtake on a corner, hit the embankment which he then flew over into a field of stinging nettles. I almost wet myself from laughing when I saw him [}:)]

Some days it's not even worth knawing at the straps

I know Ray, I have a 12 inch bruise in length and at least 6 inches in diameter and it is really hurting the last two days..but you are right...it happens all the time to me...I almost tripped down the spiral staircase when we were going before the bride...aagghh!  I would've been so embarrased...but luckily I had a good foothold and grabbed the staircase...I did not lose my calle lily.  

Got married?  I think that could be an accident in some cases Helena...yikes...don't go to vegas!
