Fun in Ireland!
« on: 05/07/2006 16:24:29 »
Hey everyone!  I am new to the forum.  I live in L.A. and go to UCLA (Go Bruins!!)  I am actually a history major but have been slowly being pulled to the "dark side"...yes....SCIENCE!!!  I might even get a lab coat one of these days.  Dont tell.
So my question is....(drum roll please)....I am going to Ireland in September.  Can anyone suggest some fun historical and science related (yes...I said it)[:0] things to do?  I would really appreciate it!  Thanks!!

Personally Blarney Castle is a cool place to go...and you simply must kiss the Blarney stone...no tongues though !!...well..you can if you wish !!

At the same time?  Sounds great!  Seriously...sounds great!!
"Yes sir...this Celtic pottery was already broken.  hic."
Guiness and history are a nice combination.  DUI-digging under the influence.

Thanks Hadrian! That is so nice of you.
I'm there from August 29th till Sept. 3rd.  I will be with my lovely wife.  I'll be in Dublin in the beginning then mainly around the South and South West.  (Kinsale, Kerry Ring).  I will have a car so please warn as many people as you can that there will be an American driver.  I will not, repeat WILL NOT, be: loud, opinionated,  obnoxious,or complain.  I will also not wear a matching Aran sweater and hat.
Juzzy.
