Well this looks like fun. I don't even know what to post it under. A transparent artificial "muscle" that produces sound. But it sounds like it could have a lot of important applications. If it produces sounds, can it do the opposite and translate sound back into ionic signals, action potentials? Can it be used to treat neural deafness?
