A little something for our Forum Friends
« on: 25/07/2006 17:22:14 »
REAL FRIEND TEST !

This is GOOD.....

A simple friend, when visiting, acts like a guest. A real friend opens your
refrigerator and helps himself
(and doesn't feel even the least bit weird shutting your Coke drawer with
her/his foot!)

A simple friend has never seen you cry.
A real friend has shoulders soggy from your tears.

A simple friend doesn't know your parents' first names.
A real friend has their phone numbers in their address book.

A simple friend brings a bottle of Pepsi to your party.
A real friend comes early to help you cook and stays late to help you clean.

A simple friend hates it when you call after they've gone to bed.
A real friend asks you why you took so long to call.

A simple friend seeks to talk with you about your problems.
A real friend seeks to help you with your problems.

A simple friend wonders about your romantic history.
A real friend could blackmail you with it.

A simple friend thinks the friendship is over when you have an argument.
A real friend calls you after you had a fight.

A simple friend expects you to always be there for them.
A real friend expects to always be there for you!

Which one are you a simple friend or real friend?

Hey Loretta!  My best friend sent this to me, it is exactly how we are with each other.

Well, here is a series of promises that really speaks to true friendship:

1. When you are sad - I will help you get drunk and plot revenge against the sorry b*****d who made you sad.

2. When you are blue - I will try to dislodge whatever is choking you.

3. When you smile - I will know you finally had **x.

4. When you are scared - I will rag on you about it  every chance I get.

5. When you are worried - I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse it could be and to quit whining.

6. When you are confused - I will use little words.

7. When you are sick - Stay the hell away from me until you are well again. I don't want whatever you have.

8. When you fall - I will point and laugh at your clumsy ass.

This is my oath...I pledge it till the end. "Why?" you may ask, because you are my friend. Send this to 10 of your closest friends, then get depressed because you can only think of 4.

Remember: A good friend will help you move. A really good friend will help you move a body. Let me know if I ever need to bring a shovel.

I hope you all have a friend as wonderfully demented as mine.
