i hear ya...I am thinking about taking a short 3 to 4 day cruise next month and then I will be going to Shreveport, LA for Thanksgiving and do our tradtional cook off with my girlfriend...

We do this every year...except when I was working for Barney...I had to go and get all the paychecks for security to hand out and there was ice on the road. ick! Cheri and I will be doing our usual thing and having much fun..then we will clean up stay up until 3am or 4am drink coffee and talk about old times...she was my roomie back in the day...hehe

Sounds like a blast... I do not have my best buddy from school anymore , she's the one who was killed.[

] I kind of envy you your buddy! I wish for you to have a ton of fun as I will be remembering her when you are gone.. its a nice thought to have for her!!Pleasant memories and the holidays as she loved them too! I remember one year she was so funny, she said all the little kiddies loved christmas and there was not enough cute characters for thanksgiving.. so she spent several weeks designing and making this very elaborate Turkey costume for Thanksgiving, and then she walked all over the plaza for two or three days shaking the little kidies hands and letting them talk Turkey to her as she thought it would be fun... !! It was.. so much fun a couple little ones tried to chase her for if they caught her they said they could eat her!! She was a crack up and the kids loved her as I did!! You never knew what she would do next, she was a bright star and so funny running around gobbling and playing with all the children who would go by!! So cute..She gave them all some of her tail feathers as she packed a basket full, telling the children she was nervous about being dinner! so she was loosing her feathers... The children new nothing about moulting but it was funny anyways!!

Awwww, what a refreshing memory. I will take that memory and share it with Cheri....I was the daredevil in college and when my sisters would dare me to do something I would...I was foolish. LOL I remember taking the flag down at Mcdonalds after climbing up the pole and waving at the manager...he waved back and didn't say anything...looking back at it, he was probably a perv as I was wearing a skirt and blouse going up that stupid pole...geez...
