Wifey wants one of these because she is allergic to cat hair....they're so cute !!..look at those ears !!...trouble is...they're about £500...(almost $1000)...and I know I'll have to buy two !!.......anybody got experience with these Sphynx cats ?

By the way...we are cat lovers and ex-owners..(exchanged pets for four children instead !!).just never had a bald cat before. (well..not that kind of bald pu....STOP IT THERE NEIL !!![

........apparently they feel like a hot suede water bottle and need bathing once a week (cripes...and there I was thinking my once a month shower was over doing it ! [

Actually, I have also found out that these cats may not be a cure for people who are allergic to cat hair !!...anybody know why ?

I think it's because it's not the actual hair but the small particles of shed skin that are allergenic.

THANK GAIA...I will do some more research into it.I appreciate greatly your advice. We'll soon find out if she's allergic because we'll be visiting the breeder and we'll spend some time with the cats...

In fact...the photos above were sent to me by a local breeder (local to moi of course) which I obtained from another website...most people were quoting £950...but I think they were pedigrees....

Is crazy how much it costs for certain pets. Our Dog was a pedigree, but we got him for free as he was a rescue dog. Luckily he wasn't stuck up or anything like that [
