Any communication theory that explains why there's a negative influence after an intervention?

Please clarify. I have absolutely no idea what you're asking. What experiment are you talking about? Or are you talking about experiments in general.

As far as communication theory goes, there aren't multiple theories, there's only one, i.e. Communication Theory. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communication_theory
