We all have things we don't like about ourselves and tend to sometimes dwell too much on those. So Now I want to have you think of 10 things you like about yourself, qualities etc.

7= That that I am finally learning how to care about me!

This is a hard one, as I always tend to think about the negative with regards to myself; so here goes.

1) I like that I'm good a research
2) I love that I'm married
3) I love that I've got wonderful parents
4) I like that I'm not bed bound anymore
5) I like that I am a survivor
6) I like that I can paint well with pastels
7) I like the fact that I'm interested in the world around me.
I like that I'm a lover of moggies
9) I like that I have friends that I've known for over 28 years
10) I like that I always have a dream to fulfil

How's that?

Not sure that one really does have good or bad points.  Mostly, we have strengths and weaknesses, but they are dependent upon the environment we find ourselves in, and that which is a positive attribute in one environment can become a negative attribute in another environment.

I am very loyal, but misplaced loyalty can be a liability.

I am truthful, but sometimes the truth can be uncomfortable, or even dangerous.

I can look at things from every angle, but then this sometimes prevents me from taking sides, and making decisions, because I can too easily still see all the strengths of all the other sides.

I am a gentle person, but maybe I lack force when it is needed.

I care about others, but then I sometimes forget to care about myself.

I am good at thinking, but then will constrain myself to thought, and neglect to act.

I can be very patient, but then I do not know when I should be impatient.

These are but  7, and I shall consider whether I can think of another 3 attributes that in some contexts might be seen as positive.

Those are very good and very thoughtfull.. I am guilty of the third from the bottom on your list also... So many things.. part of my goals for the rest of my life is to act on some of mine in a more positive way and not let life take me for a ride, but for me to be the driver and not just a passenger in the car!! Thanks George, I can already think of several more for you my modest friend...

Not all the time, but there are times when it is hard to see.

I try not to think too hard about some hidden meanings, they're hidden for a reason and I don't care if there is cream on the corner of my mouth, it doesn't have a problem with me so I don't have a problem with it []
