There are quite a few people who have made a huge impact on my life. My gran being one of them. She was a lovely woman who I miss dearly, she was like a second mother to me, always there if I was hurt or in trouble. I lost her when I was quite young so her death hit me very hard. But my memories of her keep me happy and makes me live my life the best I can, she is still with me.

But you lot have also made an impact on me, you are all gorgeous, you know who you are [:X]

My brother used to jump on me as a kid...he made a big impact on me !

DAniel It would be My Grandmother also, and my mom, Always telling me That I was a lucky Girl to be given such a new start at life 4 times.. Told me not to ever deny what was in my heart and always stay true to it! She was very special to me and I am much like her and she has left me with many gifts .. I loved her and the love in my heart is boundless because of her.. she taught me to love everyone and never just look at a surface but to look deeper because every soul is worthwhile and needs love and understanding..

My Father who taught me so much about principals in life...doing the right thing no matter what as you win knowing you did the right thing even when you have to make a stand doing the right thing, which would get me in trouble at school sometimes verbalizing things I should've kept to myself.  He raised me with my Grandmother and taught me how to invent things...hehe  Some things were good and some were not...? Watching him create equipment was amazing!  If he couldn't figure out to make equipment, he would find it and duplicate it at home.  I wish I was as smart as he was... Yikes!  He taught me to use my head and don't allow others to think for me to make decisions...

He sounds like a great man Loretta!! Sounds alot like my husbands grandfather.. He describes him similarly!

Sir what was the age difference between the two of you... if you don't mind me asking.. as my sister was that way with me but there was 5 years difference for us! Man for about 5 years after she moved, I was always flinching when she walked past me expecting to get slugged  hit or pinched...LOL !! So glad we grew up![][]

Loretta that is cool that your Grandma raised you for a while I hope things were good with your mom also... Things tend to happen when people are young!! My grandma raised my mom untill she was 16 then disappeared and let her alone to run a resturant by herself and did not come back until she was 18 . Expected my mom to be welcoming according to my mom.. Turns out that my Grans New Hubby had hurt my mom and it killed my Gran and she left with him to try to get him away from her... so in the end things were good she was very sad to have missed that part of my Moms life and they made up and loved each other very much we spent alot of time with my Gran as There were 7 of us children and most of the time my mom flew solo except for winter months when road work was impossible then my Step Dad would be out of town from like april through October.. about 7 months... out of the year! Did not hurt my feelings as he was a nasty man and hurt me and my sisters..and last living Brother!

This being something my Grandma helped put a stop to, as she had been there herself with her ex husband one of seven husbands.. My Grandma liked love.... But the guys seemed to not like her having children or liked the children too much and she would get a divorce.. There were only two girls born to her! She was an amazing women as was my mom!!

Its odd I have two Siblings that have died,one boy one girl, and 1 oldest sister has two children and 1 Step Daughter. My other sister has Two children and 1 Step Daughter also. My brother had two Daughters one is deceist! My youngest half Sister has no children of her own and no  sign of any as she is a lesbian.. she could adopt but she is so messed up from drugs that she will never be able to be an adaquet good parent.. can't take care of herself let alone someone else!

I have three of my own children and am wishing for grandbabies of multiple sex and twins and triplets will be welcomed HEE HEE HEE HEE! Maybe not by my kids but by me!!!LOL Someday!

My biological mother gave me to my father at 3 days old...I only knew her from a distance....what was odd I did not feel a connection to her while growing up and when I was on my own and tried to have a mother/daughter relationship to her...that didn't work, so I attempted a friendship with her, but she couldn't handle it as I reminded her too much of my father...so I had to keep away from her as her behaviour was a bit odd and intolerable of her treatment towards others...I couldn't stand it!  I also, was the one elected to do her Eulogy 3 years ago in October when she died from breast cancer.  My sister told her I was on my way out of town to be there at the hospital with them and said she died quickly right after she told her that...(I swear she did it intentionally to keep from having any sort of connection with me??)My stepmom is a sweetheart and I will always honour her for raising me!  It was difficult as I thought on my own, spoke my mind(which always landed me in trouble with her as I stood for the principal of "things"), and she has lived with me for the past 3 years...I owe her for teaching me how to be a respectable young lady.  I love her much!

Oh wow!  I admire you wanting more children, but as for me I am so glad I have the 3 boys and wish to enjoy the rest of my life...I want to travel more now.  I will be visiting you next year...must get pics of that beautiful bridge and also, going to Europe for a bit of travel next year...may make two trips there next year...we will see...

Wow Loretta, I could be fine with 30 little rug rats underfoot and I am everyday, They are so sweet!! Would love it so much!!!I am glad your step mom and you have such love It is not always an easy job for some people to give love to those that are noyt blood, I have never had a problem.. as I love people of every walk of life... always have.. Just the way it goes..
