My God. Now that I think about it, this night I made a very strange dream: I saw a dog burnt trapped in woods! I remember very well, now, I have this clear image of that dog, almost intact outside, but completely burnt inside! I didn't know at all about that New in Middlestone Moor. Is there a connection?

According to the "Mythbusters" TV programme the story of men being electrocuted by urinating on the live rail is apocryphal. The stream of pee breaks up into seperate droplets after approx 25cm so there is not a connection to the electricity, (unless you are Verne Troyer). Apparently Bailey's anatomy was closer than 25cm.

Don't you have like a big dog flap thing so that they can go and wee wee outside ?

Nope, don't have a doggie door.  Too many other critters around that could get in.  Squirrels, cats, small children, racoons, GATORS, snakes.  I let the stupid dogs out about every hour, but noooooo, he has to go weewee inside.  At least it's on the tile and not the carpet.

Sometimes dogs are like that CAroline.. Mine would go out anytime unless it was raining.. Then he was afraid to get little delicate toes wet so he would go on the porch or linolium.. It got to where I had to run him off the porch.. He hated me for it!!

 few simple solutions for you Mam when doggies go out so that you can get a doggy flap....Remember !..you are a girly which means you would have not thought about these ! (lol)

1: give the doggies cell phones so that they an buzz you to let them in or out

2: place a sign outside of the door saying ' Residents only '

3: Set up a paw-print entry system

4: Post a guard by the doggy flap and gives ID passes to your doggies

5: Install a doggy urinal in your bathroom

6: Train doggies to clean up with mop, disinfectant and then to sterilize afterwards so that further training will enable them to make you tea and coffee

...I could go on !!!...don't worry as, I said...you are a girly and are not expected to think of such things !!

You can get magnetically activated cat flaps (I assume the same would work for dogs) where the cat wears a magnetic collar that releases the door and allows your cat through, but will not allow through anything that does not have a magnetic collar (ofcourse, it does not guarantee that as your pet enters, another animal will not sneak in alongside, but it would have to be careful timing, and not a likely event).

I must admit, I did not know those existed.  We are going to be replacing the door soon (I hope)  It was damaged by a fire several years ago and should've been replaced then, but....

I'll have to look into getting one of those.  Sounds promising, although I think the dog does it just to be a brat.  He wants to show me who's the boss.
