Well since I have no serious takers on my thread, maybe I shall start over!

I am a collector of odd objects,
I am a lover of passion and pros and poetry
I am an animal Lover
I like to dabble with different musical instruments
I like to cook for pleasure not meals... You know the new recipe etc.
I Like looking at the stars
I collect Dice, Marbles, Occupied Japan collectibles I collect Stamps andd have many many albums.. I like star trek Things and sci fiction
I like computer play!Graphics ect. Would like to write and publish poetry and childrens stories!
Biggest hobby is working with children, especially difficult children! Children who struggle socially!

Sorry hun, I will be serious for a moment, so you know what that means.....Yes, it means that the red colour font is coming out.

Photography has to be my favourite hobby, last Saturday I met up with one of my close friends, who is also into photography, and we both set off towards the docks to take some pics. Otherwise I don't really think the other things I like doing class as hobbies. I love meeting up with my mates and possibly getting into trouble....well mainly it's me who gets into trouble. I love my films and watching new ones. And then there is sleep, well, if I can that is  []

It's been so long since I've had time to have a hobby.  All I seem to have time for these days is taking care of family and business.  I guess you could say my hobbies are being a mom, wife, business owner, flunky, cook, maid, driver, etc.  Oh wait - hobbies are what we do for fun, right?  Ok well, hmmmmm.  I can only think of one thing, and I don't think I can post that.

Daniel, That is cool. Photography is way coolI also Love movies, Hardly see them anymore.. But I love them!

Daniel What is your favorite thing to photograph? You know some people love to take pictures of nature, somelike to take pictures of people and or specifically children or old folks,...etc. Yet others like still life or things of that nature. Do you have a preference?

Hiya hun.

I prefer landscapes than anything else. I like to take photos of trees in winter when the leaves have fallen and you see the tree, well, it's like it's naked........I know that sounds odd or it just sounds like me  []

I've taken several photos of a couple of protests. My first was in New York, it was to do with the escalating problems in Iraq. There was only one photo that I liked out of the lot. It was of this woman holding a sign saying Iraq, let our people live, or something like that. But it's the look on her face, it captivated me, she warmed my heart. It definitely didn't hurt that she was a hotty as well though, well, to be honest that's why I took her photo  []

The second protest was to do with oil and petrol. The protest stopped at a petrol station where two guys who climbed onto the roof with a banner. They had those ghost masks on, the one from the Scream films. It was definitely an exciting half an hour, the protest moved on leaving the two guys while the police moved in to arrest them. Now that was fun  []

DAN, Have you done some traveling with your Hobby?

Not really no  [] Can't afford to do so just yet. I have been to Switzerland a couple of times. The last time I was armed with a couple of films. Still need to get those developed.

I hope to plan a trip up to Scotland next year though, want to get some lovely landscape pics of the highlands  []

A couple of films on a holiday?  Was a time I would burn half a dozen (in those days I was taking about 20 to 30 reals of film a year).

Now I have gone digital, so I don't think in terms of films, only in terms of megabytes, and normally will use up most of the 1 gigabyte of flash memory I have for the camera on a holiday.  OK, a lot of that is because I tend to bracket every shot, so in reality it is only about a third as many actual unique shots - and even then, it is often just the same thing from slightly different angles.

That sounds cool. I never go anywhere to take pictures! You to have same hobbies you shou;d get together and have a coff and go shoot some piccy's together!

Whao mirage i love that, i enjoy taking pics too but thats not my hobby. my hobbies are travelling, reading, and meeting people.

That might be an interesting compilation of photos.. You could sell it for a million, Daniel.. People educating them selves reading you could make some money while you do it! Stranger things have happened...LOL

It kind of reminds me of work that Gilliam Wearing did. She would get people to write anything they wanted down on a piece of paper and hold it up while took their photo. Love her work along with Andy Goldsworthy.
