That looks more volcanic than meteoric to me, otherwise it's a photo of DrB's brain, taken while it had been removed for it's periodic check-up and cleaning.

...And its claws are as big as cups, and for some reason it's got a tremendous fear of stamps! And Mrs Doyle was telling me it's got magnets on its tail, so if you're made out of metal it can attach itself to you! And instead of a mouth it's got four arses!

No, I haven't fallen asleep.

You were pretty close in the end. It's Hyperion, 1 of Saturn's moons. I think it's amazing and there's no way I would ever have guessed that it's a moon. I thought it was a sponge when I first saw it.

The photo was taken by the Cassini space probe.
