This is so frustrating. To me it's so obviously a part of a duck or goose. What do you mean "close"? Is it not the side, or is it not a goose or duck but another bird, or are you asking for the species? :p

Well the feather and colour profile doesn't really match pigeons or doves. I can't wait to see what it is.

I say a 1rst guess..... pheasant, or  2nd a pigeon?

I don't know for sure but not a my no. 3 guess would be  female peacock  or no. 4..... a grousse eh?
