That statement is not strictly true, however organisms do retain and express certain features of their evolutionary history during their development.

As for ontology, I do remember reading an article on Science Daily several years ago that chicken embryos having teeth had been photographed. I guess I missed the import of the news. I am utterly dismayed at this scientific faux pas. I regret any confusion in smaller minds (ergo,Hulk) that may have occurred. _Stefan_ you, young Skywalker, were correct. I have learned that adults are not totally infallible. My deepest apologies, sir.
