Yep. I've just been out for a walk with the Bat Detector (converts the bats ultrasound to audible frequencies) and picked-up and seen well over a dozen in half an hour.

Nope (to the Indian dying) though that's inventive.

A bit more info - the 'tops' are about 30cm square, the sides are about 4m long.

There should be 193 of them but some have been taken out (by the thing in the top-middle of the right hand picture) which is why you can see the blue glow so clearly.

(I like the blue glow...)

Perhaps this is clearer from further away?

So, is the blue glow sky ?

Wow...me is even more confused and I have to say I was very impressed with the imagination of Karens guess !!

193 4 metre by 30cm containers ?...hmmmmmmm!!...

Is 193 prerequisite ? or can it be more or less ?

193 is what I'm familiar with, but some have more some have less (OK - I admit that's not being very helpful). [;D]

30 cm ~ 1 foot, 4 metres ~12 feet

The pictures are actually taken under water and that's tied-up with the cause of the blue glow.

btw - on cartoons they usually show it as a green glow!

as it is glowing is it radio active

Spot-on. It's called Cerenkov radiation and it's caused (for example) by high energy electrons tavelling in water. The radioactive beta particles (fast electrons) are actually travelling faster than the natural speed of light in water (< c) and this results in something a bit like an electromagnetic sonic-boom = Cerenkov radiaton.

Picture on the left is looking down in to the Refuelling Pool of a Pressurised Water Reactor (Sizewell 'B' in Suffolk, UK). About half the core (made up of 193 fuel assemblies) has been removed so you can see down the sides of those that are left. Picture on right shows one of these fuel assemblies close-up and you can just make-out the individual fuel pins.

they have all those little vent holes

Yep. The core is about 3metres across and has a water flow of about 20tonnes per second through it when its running. It produces ~3500 MW, or the same amount of heat as 1 million electric kettles.

And from the oustide:
