When there is a total eclipse of the Sun does the moon produce any measurable gravity shielding effect? My first guess is that it would not as it has been suggested that 'Gravitons' have about 10^-11 times the interaction with matter that Neutrinos have and they would have no trouble zipping through the moon and also the thermal effects caused by photon shielding would confuse the issue but have any attempts ever been made to measure an effect ?
