« on: 19/01/2016 10:50:02 »
OLAYODE CHARLES asked the Naked Scientists:
1)HOW DO I DETERMINE THE NUMBER OF TANDEM REPEATS OF D1S80 ALLELE FROM GEL ELECTROPHORESIS MARKER.
2) HOW DO I DETERMINE THE SEQUENCE OF A FORWARD AND REVERSE PRIMER USED TO AMPLIFY D1S80 LOCUS.
3) SINCE THERE ARE 29 DIFFERENT ALLELES ON D1S80, HOW DO I DETERMINE THE CLASSES OF HOMOZYGOUS AND HETEROZYGOUS FROM DNA SAMPLES HAVING 2 BANDS EACH ON GEL.
4) IF THE SIZES OF PCR PRODUCTS IN AFAMILY IS FATHER WITH 435 AND 531BP AND MOTHER OF 531 AND 643BP. WHAT POSSIBLE DNA FINGERPRINTS WILL THE CHILDREN HAVE
What do you think?
