Question

Responding to many forum members' growing impatience and frustration about moving forward in POIS research: I'd like to approach my famous endo and ask him to recommend his brightest graduate student to review our posts and make recommendations. It can't cost us much (I would ask those who have pledged research funds here for POIS to fund this).

Any thoughts, comments, opinions?

sounds good.

Thanks, Defsync.

Anyone else?

My letter to major university research endocrinologist, who has worked with me successfully to alleviate my POIS symptoms

From:                demo
Date:                 April 26, 2010 2:06:27 AM PDT
To:                     Dr G
Subject:             Can you recommend a graduate student?

Dear Dr G,

Would it be possible for my forum to work with a bright graduate student who you would recommend to read our   300 pages of POIS posts over the last 3 years and make recommendations for the next step in researching our condition?

We have a limited budget from a few donor-sufferers and could pay some fees to the student to get us help in rolling out to the next steps.

We desperately need a starting point and feel the right student-researcher could be of enormous help.

Our forum is at:

Dr G, you have already been enormously helpful and I am hopeful you can help us make a breakthrough for an extremely debilitating malady.

Best regards,

Horny Goat Weed

Some of you who were here a while back might remember the discussions about this herbal medicine that researchers in Italy analyzed. So I almost bought this drink today at an upscale food store!
http://uspfb.com/adult.shtml

Looks interesting.

Here in Chile stuff like that is difficult to get. I suppose I could order it online, but, customs here is real picky sometimes, and the cost is quite a bit more.

Do you remember how much it cost?

daveman, I called Dr Chao's, they seemed very responsive to my concerns about drug interactions, etc. The price is $3.49 and they ship to Chile if you pay shipping charges. I saw their product at Whole Foods, which is a very reputable, upscale food chain. They're sending me more info, let me know if you wish, I'll be glad to forward you their email.

Thanks Demo.

Quick story (for all...very touching::).  Always, in my life, good and bad events come in waves - usually all good things at once or all bad, but almost never mixed (exaggerated).  Whether it's good or bad, it's happened for a reason, most likely based on decisions I've already made.  Usually the event(s) occured from an accumulation of many small decisions, opposed to one big decision.  For example if I job hunt for a two months without finding a single job then next week I receive 4 job offers.  The decisions I made to get the offers usually occured months ago and needed follow up persistance like practicing job interviews, refining resumes, continuously tweaking cover letters.

I feel like our effort is exactly this.  We've worked hard together for +2 years and have seen little results, funding, prof. support.  We've researched the gardening, planted seeds, watered, and fertilized, and tomorrow we could have a lush garden.  This is exciting for me because the exponential curve were on will grow quick.  Tomorrow 3 doctors could contact us for research. Tomorrow our group could find the cause. Tomorrow, find the cure.

But we can't give up working at it today (or else it will be groundhog's day, over and over). Todays decisions to research, experiement, and find support will impact us in some tomorrow.

Our future is an accumulation of the decisions we make now.

I tried initial damiana, saspirilla, nigella sativa, and fourth one.
together i didnt feel much, i started to feel like getting worse so i stoped, used for three days.  I think maybe it is because i might i used to close to my meal.

I use nigella sativa by itself before trying the combo and it seemed to have helped, because by the end of the day of using it my conversation improved, but was not 100% improvement it remind me of when i use relora and chicken together.

I havnt tried it since then i am focused on something trying something else.

has anyone tried these and if so how, did they fare

http://www.volumepills-eu.com/uk/?gclid=CLLqz4TrqaECFcsB4wodBxS57g [nofollow]

i can't stimulate myself too much at all, without having an orgasm, these days

I know some would say it is simply premature ejaculation, which like POIS seems to be the body ways of not dealing and managing sexual stimulus and the after effect of orgasm very well but I wonder whether this shares something in common with POIS

Did someone discover a 'cure' for NE's?  I recall someone posting success for a month while taking a curtain drug.

I have a doctors appointment in a couple hours about NE's.  Please let me know.

I know some would say it is simply premature ejaculation, which like POIS seems to be the body ways of not dealing and managing sexual stimulus and the after effect of orgasm very well but I wonder whether this shares something in common with POIS

On the note of premature ejaculation, that was happening to me about 3 months ago when I was going through a stage of quite severe POIS and was avoiding sex for at least 6 weeks at a time. I was often hot much before that, but feared having sex to avoid the after effects. When I finally DID have sex, the stimulus was too much (to excited for having waited so long) that I'd orgasm within seconds. It was strange, because for fear I could hardly get it up, yet as soon as the wobbly woody got close to entering, POW.

The other thing, women critisize us for being governed by our penises, but it's how we're built. The female cycle is 28 days, the male cycle is from 2 to 5 days. As soon as we orgasm, the body begins another cycle of sperm regeneration. Men do not bleed their excess unused sperm out of their body, and it can't be stored indefinately. So our body produces the hormonal cocktail neccesary to control the cycle. We must eject the great majority of the unspent sperm through ejaculation.

I'm sure that's an over-simplifiaction, but for us, this system is un-balanced. It feels bad to rebuild sperm, we delay longer than we should to release it and are probably more sensitive than most to the need to eject it.

Masturbation in men is much more prevelent in men for that very reason.

And premature ejaculation is a result of the body's stimulation of the need to procreate and or recycle sperm.

Anyways, in POIS this whole system is somewhat upset.

What I recall is 1) antidepressants (they can mitigate desire), and 2) at sleeptime, lying on the couch a certain way:

Hey guys, I'm still non-symptomatic and my acne is clearing.  What I realized about the strawberries, if it didn't work for you...  I was also supplementing with Zinc, (called Optizinc or something along those lines).  Maybe the elongated use of that vita did it?

Hi GoingCrazy,

How long have you taken zinc?  Did you stop taking it at all, and do you still take it now?

Thanks
