Hello,
I'm from the Netherlands and will try to be a patient of dr. Waldinger.

Since yesterday I know that my disease is called POIS.
 
I will briefly explain my symptoms. After an orgasm I feel immediately that I do not feel good. It also seems my orgasm 'stuck'. I can not sleep because my muscles and joints seem to be blocked. The next morning I woke up with a sick feeling and demolished. This usually takes four days.
Other things:
* white tongue
* irritation in the throat
* blocked nose
* very irritable
* Eyes full of moisture. The tears are painful, my eyes are red.
* My allergies have worsened (I swallow daily Xyzal for years).
* I've had several urinary tract infections
* I also suffer from IBS and hemorrhoids
* Burst blood vessels in and near the nose
* Sometimes a cavity inflammatory

Hopefully the cure of Dr. Waldinger comes soon.

I do not eat a lot of meat. Maybe I've got too little Vitamin B.

I've moodswings. Maybe my hormonlevel is not good. My Ts4 (thyroid) is not too low, but on the low side.

Excessive masturbation might play a role.

5. Other websites. Our website can be found at http://sites.google.com/site/POISwebsite/ . Most other websites that have some POIS sufferers seem to be connected to "bodybuilding" forums. I am concerned about these sites, as they promote questionable nutrients, and frankly, questionable advice. These POIS sufferers may be a "special breed", in that they often take supraphysiologic doses of steroids, including testosterone. Let me know if you nevertheless wish to see some of the url's.

Dr. Waldinger, I hope that this is a good start, and we will be thinking of more ways to be helpful.

These days, many of the best papers appear on arXiv before they are published.

If a study is credited cited and published in the right way, it'll be difficult for a skeptical doctor who assumes "it's all in your head" to not take seriously this serious illness.

He might have written two papers to separate out data ( eg."cause" from the "cure"). Maybe there is more chance of it being accepted if he separates the data? Perhaps there were two phases to his research... we'll just have to wait and see.
