okay what i want to know is, where did this site get information on the announcement? is the writer following this forum closely? or do they know somewhere where the Journal of American Medical Association has actually announced they are gonna release POIS info? Or did he really just write that spoof based on demografx's post from dr. waldinger?

Well, the interesting thing to me is that often there's truth in fiction. If the part about The Journal of the American Medical Association actually has real plans to publish a POIS paper, that's astounding  news!!

I agree, but as Defsync points out, the author would have to know something to have written this spoof. And I'm curious as well to find out what he does know. We're not exactly well-known fodder for humor on Letterman, so maybe the author knows something we don't? Can't hurt to try and find out.

I think they read the email of dr. Waldinger on this forum. Maybe they came on this site through Google.

I tried this: a half an hour before an O I took 1 Xyzal (antihistamines). And then directly after the O a NSAID. Let's see if I recover faster.

Tommorow I'm going to try magnesium preparations. I will not be the cure. But I read that magnesium is very good for the muscles and joints. Maybe this wil improve the recovory.
