Has anyone else here been having problems with viewing graphics in some of the posts?

For example, the animated gif in the beginning of my.delahaye's welcome post above?

I most often see a small box, with a red "X" or "?" inside the box...instead of the graphic. And the problem is intermittent.

Whoa. I'm researching systemic yeast infections, and WHOA, it looks like this could be it. Read through this:

Hello everyone,

First of all, sorry for my poor english, I'm a 26 years old man from Belgium, French is my native language.
Since I'm about 18 years old I have suffered from
* extreme tiredness (physical and mental)
* difficulties to speak for no specific reasons (can't find words, cannot make a clear sentence, making simple grammar mistakes, loss of spontaneity)
* general loss of memory
* reduced capacity to think clearly, lack of concentration (sometimes impossible to concentrate at all)
* from time to time pressure in the head which implies big pain in the eyes
* sensation in the head (it's not really pain, nor warmth ... I just feel something ... very hard to describe)
* depression, change of mood, negative

And these symptoms imply complete loss of self confidence, impossible to work (jobless now), no social life, no girlfriend.

Some days, I can speak very well and feel good, and at some days *I know* that it's better to stay home alone and better feel lonely than deceiving the people around, which increases depression.
Most of the people think of me that I'm too lazy and I was persuaded of this myself. But lately I understood that i'm constantly fighting against my tiredness, that i'm not lazy and I want to change, but I can't overcome it ...

I have seen several doctors for this, who sent me to psychologists, psychiatrist and psycho-therapeutist. It didn't help.
I have taken anti-depressants like Effexor and Sipralexa but it had no effects at all. Tried several types of vitamins, didn't help either.

I noticed that after ejaculation, it's a **complete disaster**. I feel *so* lazy, that I can't do anything at all ! Can't think, can't concentrate, can't speak fluently ...
I told that several times to the doctors, but seems they say it's psychological and send me again to some psychologist.
My brain has also been scanned (the pressure if i'm not wrong), but nothing was wrong.

I feel completely hopeless now, i typed on Google "ejaculation extreme fatigue" and came across this forum, I'm somehow happy to see that i'm not the only one with this problem.

Some more little details about me to complete the above (if any interest ... maybe people here can find something in common) which may absolutely not be related to the syndrome, but who knows :
- I have *a lot of* dandruff, can't get rid of them with any shampoo, many loss of hair, a huge quantity of sperm after ejaculation (very liquid), rings under eyes, lot of cerumen in ears.
Seems that my body produces too much ? I have done all the tests about thyroide, but doctors can't find anything wrong.
- articulation problem with left ear
- Obsessional character
- When a relation with girl gets more serious, I always find something negative about her physical appearance and I am getting annoying, and I feel I'm not myself, and I just *can't* change, it's stronger than me, I'm becoming so indifferent and having a cheap, mean humor ... so it's better for me, and for her, that I stop the relation.
- I didn't have a joyful past ... so this disease may be related to my past somehow, but seems that nobody can help me with it.

Has any member here found out something to get better ? It's a such a burden :( ... I can't stand it anymore.

Thank you for any attention
( Here is my email in any case: my.delahaye@gmail.com )

Howdy delahaye
I can relate to your symptoms almost to a T and I very much consider that you have POIS. Like you it had a huge impact on my life as regards study, career, pressure from my parents (I used to be top student), social life and girlfriends. It abated somewhat in my early 20s when I took up body building, but my health then crashed and I got chronic fatigue syndrome. My focus has been on this over the years and I have made progress in regards to my health and I work full time. I found conventional doctors useless. I would recommend that you seek out a doctor that specializes in 'chronic' health conditions. A doctor that looks at environmental aspects, hormones, allergies, nutrition, sleep, infections, etc.
As regards your dandruff, this does not seem to be a common symptom amongst POIS suffers I gather. I had bad + stubborn dandruff for years Regular anti-dandruff shampoos would not help. The best one I found was the medical shampoo that has ketoconazole in it. I also had good results with a Moroccan mud shampoo but that’s not made anymore. When I got chronic fatigue I developed chemical sensitivities. I had a lot of trouble with the odors from shampoos. I made a big improvement in my brain fog after seeing an allergy specialist and I changed my diet and also changed to low allergy shampoos. Before this I had lost the ability to even read I was that wasted. My big break through with permanently getting rid of dandruff however came when I was put on testosterone replacement therapy. I have heard of a few other men saying the same thing, though I have never seen dandruff listed as a symptom of low testosterone. If you have a test for testosterone make sure you get your 'free' levels tested. Also with testing for thyroid many doctors will only test for TSH. This is not comprehensive enough if a person exhibits many thyroid symptoms. There are 5 different blood tests that can be done to conclusively rule out thyroid disorder.

The only symptom of yours I did not suffer from to any significant degree is the cerumen in the ears.

Read through the past posts on this forum to glean ideas for different things you can try yourself. ie: changes to diet. A few guys have recovered from POIS but at this time there is no universal silver bullet cure. When it comes to chronic fatigue syndrome, it’s the same story there.

Whoa. I'm researching systemic yeast infections, and WHOA, it looks like this could be it. Read through this:

I am being treated for candida overgrowth currently. I am on diflucan & nystatin & noni powder plus avoiding grains and sugars. I have been pretty good over the past few months. Its no cure, but my pois symptoms are not as strong. I am a little wary of putting a % figure on it as I have made good progress with my health over the past few few years and there are other factors. A couple of other things that I have been taking the past year that I feel also contribute..baclofen, tyrosine, MagOpticell, methyl B12 injections, activated b vitamins, Glycyrrhiza + golden seal herbs, colloidal minerals and probiotics.

I really think candida and other bacterial overgrowth are contributory factors to POIS. There is no way I am going to say its the cause of POIS but I believe in my case it has been an aggravating factor even if its just by burdening the immune system.

I have read a number of posts on this forum from guys who say they feel better with garlic or feel better by cutting back on grains & sugars, or feel better with probiotics or who have coated tongues.

Msg for demografx.
Demo you made a post a few months back now regarding how your brain fog symptoms seemed to improve when you had your head near an open freezer box (or something similar). I just wanted to mention that I can totally relate to that. I really picked up that effect years ago when I had an evening job working at a supermarket and I worked in the cooler room. I felt so much more energized. I loved it.
Going along with this is fact that my best months as regards pois induced brain fog & lethargy is the autumn & winter months. In the hot humid months my head feels overheated and like I have increased cranial pressure.
Like you I have ESS. I have mentioned in a past post where I had a PET brain scan and I was found to have abnormal brain blood flow and I am sure this contributes to this effect.

@acronym
Thank you very much for your message and advices!

I've also practiced bodybuilding some time, and I notice that I get better (not 100% though),
however I need to go there often, eat well, and it takes so much time and efforts.
I feel somehow that it is like bypassing the real problem, what if one day I can't practice anymore like you ?
That's why I don't want to rely on that right now.

or who have coated tongues.

I have an awful coated tongue! I never open my mouth too much. I have seen a doctor for this a very very long time ago,
and he was saying that it is just a normal phenomenon, that many pople are having this and nothing has to be done.
However, I have searched through the internet now about the meaning of it and seems that it gives a lot of indications, I feel kind of shocked right now.
Sometimes I feel like many doctors are having a lack of skills ! I just can't trust them anymore.

So I continue my own research, planned a test in some laboratory against intoxication to Mercury/Silver this month, and end September I have a test against sclerosis.

What kind of doctors did you visit for your B12 treatment, vitamins, herbs, etc. ?
Thanks!

Yes, this time was the first time that I hadn't seen the image. I've never seen an animated image however, just "flat ones"

@Vandemolen,
Thank you for your response! I appreciate it very much.
Indeed, I feel bad during several days/weeks and I know that the only thing I can do is just wait for the recovery... However, i don't feel sick, but MAINLY very tired, lazy, negative and depressed. I don't feel any pain. (By the way, did you read my updates under "Some more little details..." ? Checked your posts and having some interesting similarities about relationships.)

@demo,
Thank you for your welcome message. I'm a programmer so if you need help with the website that would be welcome.
Looks like you did some copy paste, haha.

It's always wise to have medicines only by prescription of a doctor.
But I read that dr. Dexter's patient was cured by  norethisterone. So it could work for Horizon or others too.
