This is what Waldinger says and it bothers me. I can produce POIS symptoms with absolutely no ejaculation of any kind of fluid of any kind. I believe it is the chemical that causes the contraction of the muscles, OR the chemical that causes the RELEASE of this chemical, that I believe is that cause of POIS, the chemical that causes that "feel good" feeling contraction.

Defsynch those ideas look great.  Im a student and dont have any money yet. It would be great to hear about any trials with those or any other drugs.  

I agree with you man, I get POIS without any fluid expulsion as well.

I'm not totally sold on the immune system theory but I haven't ruled it out.

Is anyone taking any non-herbal medication they can report on in addition to silosidin?
Any drug trial reports would be excellent. (non-herbal please)

Is the POIS that you both get with no fluid expulsion exactly the same as the POIS that you would typically get from a full-blown orgasm with full ejaculation? Same intensity, same recovery period?

Before I started taking Zoloft, "morning wood" (erect penis upon awakening) often left me feeling "groggy" for much of the rest of the day, which felt to me like a mild form of POIS. Zoloft's effects on my libido (or advancing age!) seem to have put an end to my morning wood, thankfully.

Full-on ejaculation POIS is much worse for me than pre-ejaculate fluid leakage fluid POIS, which is much worse for me than morning-wood POIS.

I agree that Dr Waldinger's research seems to offer no explanation for morning wood POIS - but since all his subjects were complaining about plain vanilla ejaculation POIS, he would have had no reason to look into the causes of more minor forms of POIS. There is no reason why there can't be more than one cause for POIS - perhaps Dr Waldinger has found the first cause, there may be more to follow.

Or inject semen of a man without POIS into a man with POIS.

Since the semence of someone else is considered as a foreign body it would be normal the one who get the injection test get an immun reaction, according to me, POIS or not.

I got good teeth.  My dentist said I must have a strain of bacteria that dont produce acids which cause cavities.  So I decided to tested the bacteria in my mouth in the microbiology lab and they did not produce any acid at all. So I got that going for me

You can get a blood test.  One doctor I know, if she suspects heavy metal toxicity and nothing comes up in the blood test, she will give the patient some chelating agents for a couple days to help draw out heavy metals from the tissues and then do the test over again and also check the urine which should have heavy metals bound to the chelating agents if there are any present.

I asked one member, scooby, about mercury fillings and he had this to say:

"yes i had my first mercury filling about aged 17, the time my pois started. I had another one aged around 22. I began to think mercury could be the cause so had both took out last year, im now 35. However i still have bad pois symptoms so i don't know if it helped or not."

I'm still very skeptical about whether there is a connection with mercury fillings, but it's best not to rule it out too quickly.

It's normal to have teeth ache with POIS. Because of POIS the mouth gets dry. And when the mouth gets dry the gums get infected. There is a very quick buildup of plaque at day 1 of POIS.
So this doesn't have to do anything with mercury fillings.

P.S. I have a few mercury fillings. I will ask my dentist to replace them. It's funny that a few years ago my dentist stopped with mercury fillings. He only worked with composite fillings. I read that there is a danger for cancer because of composite fillings. So there is always something.

Depends how often I ejaculate.  The first few times within a week, it's mental, where I can't explain thoughts or ideas, can't think properly, and become a big introvert.  A little eye fatigue and blurriness too.  If I continue, joints hurt, much weaker physically.  Usually heals up 2-3 weeks after.  I get big headaches when a week or so after.  Feels like brain juice is going back lol

Vandelmolen3: yeah i notice a ton of plaque after.  I have a ton of plackers at work and just scrape plaque off all day.
