hi vandemolen as i told u today is the 10th morning and last night i had a single O and today i am out of it...i am feeling so good...

Bitu8489 - I don't get it.  I've NEVER relieved myself of POIS by having an O.  Did I understand that correctly - You had multiple Os in a night, which caused a terrible bout.  So 9 days later you had a single O which made you feel better - Is that right?  Anyone else ever experience something similar?  If that's true perhaps that lends credence to the regeneration theory - as maybe with 1 O you're re-dialing some biofeedback mechanism on how the regeneration process takes place.  Just a craaaazy off the wall thought.  Might make no sense.

Hmm, interesting observation here.  So I really did not want to go into pois, but I felt really stimulated from some porn so i tried to masturbate as long as I could without ejaculating.  When I eventually did, very little sperm came out even though I have been abstaining for like a week.  This was because I tried to squeeze my muscles when I climaxed, trying to stop it.  I repeated this same technique two more times throughout the day.  What's interesting, is the next day my pois symptoms were dramatically reduced.  I never learned anything about ejaculating spermless, but it seems like I might have achieved it partially.  I on my day 2 and definitely notice less pois symptoms, maybe about 30% left.  I'm not sure if I can replicate this technique, but it seem spermless ejaculation may be a solution.  I know my pois is not just placebo because I am a gamer and can easily notice changes in my performance.

Been dying for 2 weeks.  Strong strong allergies from yard work and too much ejaculation.  Can't resist, can't sleep, can't think, can't breathe, I'm doomed.  POIS + asthma like systems is the worst thing ever.

I've found that an intense workout helps me get rid of some of my brain fog.

true, sometimes it backfires though and I am even more tired then before.  But yeh, the extra oxygen to the brain can give a couple hours of relief for sure.

Maybe his POIS is not so worse as mine. When I have moren then 1 O. in a day I know that I will be sick for 1 or 2 weeks. So I don't. For me counts: the more O.'s I have in a week the more POIS. So I try not to have an O. when I am in POIS. So my body can heal from the allergy. By this strategy my POIS normally stays for 4 days.

I think a lot of us have muscle and joint pain. But I think that's only partially to blame to POIS. I think the muscle and joint pain is also caused because of mast. too long. When you stay in 1 position for a long time that's not good for your muscles and joints.

BIG THANKS to Martin88 for completing the extraction of 325 usernames from this forum today!

All names will be mailed a plea to donate to our NORD-POIS Research Fund!

I think it's also important that all the members of TNS forum who have POIS know about the new website. With more members we can find sponsors to help us in the POIS-fund. So I think it's good to send them an email and invite them to the new forum. A lot of members don't post anymore, but the probably still have POIS.

what i suggest to everyone suffering from pois is that dont have O often...it almost takes a week to recover and almost 15 days to be perfectly out of it....if we keep on having O regularly then most of the time we are suffering from it...just stay away from it...make a mindset to have it maybe once a month or maybe 2 months if you can control....i know for somebody who is married its difficult but then its better then being a lifeless creature...whos mind isnt working...aint it???

Bitu,

I know! POIS is debilitating. I have experienced the same feelings as you.
Also, it has long be thought of as something "just in our heads".

However, recent research by internationally recognised doctor Waldinger has indicated this is a medical condition (semen allergy). I urge you to contact an allergist close to you and show him the Waldinger papers and get tested. If it's not an allergy in your case you might want to consult an endocrinologist.

Good luck and please report back on how you're going!

B_Daniel, this is not that uncommon with POIS.

Several people, including myself, have noticed that while in POIS, another orgasm (whether it be hours or days after the first orgasm) can SOMETIMES alleviate the symptoms or cause them to improve.  It took me 10 years of having POIS to figure this out.  Obviously it may not work for you or many others with POIS.

Why antihistamines do not prevent the allergy from developing after an O? Any ideas?

I think because the allergy attack is too big. And antihistamines we can take are pills. The only antishistamines that could bring the symptoms down is an injection through the urethra. I talked with my doctor about this, and he said that it could be a solution. But the only problem is, that there is no such thing. And pharmaceutical industry will not make something for maybe 10.000 people in the whole world.

I know that not every allergy is the same, but it's worth trying. I used to drink probiotics for my intestines. But that didn't help. Now I know that my problem them was UTI and stress.
Not such a good idea for me. I have stomach problems when I drink probiotics.
