I just saw a great commercial that caught my eye and I decided it was worth posting.

three men in a white area, one looks kinda nerdy, while the other looks like any other cool person. behind the nerdy guy is what looks like a secret service agent.

cool guy: Hi, Im a mac.

secret service agent: Mac is offering a salutation, cancel or allow?

nerdy guy: allow.  And Im a pc.

ssa: you are returning mac's salutation, cancel or allow?

pc: allow.

mac: what is that?

ssa: mac is asking a question, cancel or allow?

pc: allow.  This is windows vista, my new security system.  the only problem is that it asks me to confirm everything that I or someone else does, and it gets kind of annoying.

vista: you are pointing out my faults, cancel or allow?

pc: allow.  you know, I could turn him off, but then he wouldn't give me any warnings, and it would just defeat the purpose.

vista: you are coming to a sad realization, cancel or allow?

pc: allow...

I assume thats an apple mac ad. are they British? is this thingy-jig and whatshisface from 'the peep show'? they do the apple mac/pc ads over here, although I've not seen a TV ad, just bill boards and magazine ads.

those apple duo-core pc/mac things are great. my husand got one to replace the crappy dell that he dropped. honest, he really did drop it. and we even decided not to claim on insurance, although maybe we should have.

it was a bit tense getting the bootcamp (or whatever its called) to work, as our windows disk has a miniscule scratch that has never bothered any of the PCs we've used it in, but the mac didn't like it! it loaded so much, then stopped working and we thought we'd broken the machine. but macs don't break. all is fine now, and mac's don't crash either.
