How did I get to October before the Earth did?

In my above thought the blue circle is the earth and the yellow circle the sun, the red square is me in a space suit travelling a linear vector away from the earth.
The dates on the marks are not exact to orbital position and just an example.

How did I get to October before the earth did?

Are you seriously expecting us to believe that this confuses you, or is this just a late April fool?

No that's not it Alan, I am not confusing time and distance, I am considering predicted paths and predict that in one year time the Earth will be roughly in the same place as now relative to the Sun?

On the orbital path we know where October is roughly, by taking the shorter route I put myself in the October position on the predicted path, I would then have to wait in ''time'' for the Earth to catch me up ,

From Earth you would see me in the Earths future path of October from a July position, I am sure this means something important, and think it either proves time exists or does not exist? (just cant quite clarify my thinking which one it proves).

added- also there is something in my mind about this may show there is no future or past and a few other things.

It is confusing me what it really means. See other post reply to alan.

Yes, it means something important, it means you are early.

Imagine you want to catch a train at 1800 tonight. You set off at 0900 this morning and it takes you 1hr to get to the station. You are early, I hope you brought lunch with you.

In the case of being early for the arrival of the earth it's a little more serious, I hope you brought lots of oxygen with you!

Yes we can I say I was there early and anticipated the velocity of the Earth to time my early arrival. However there is a bit more to this perspective than just arriving early.

Please think objective  on this and do not just recite present information without being also a bit objective to the present information when discussing this new information and we will have a brilliant discussion.

We see objects in their past, yet if I was in the October position and early, you are seeing me in your future position and not me in my past?

You are early for the arrival of the earth, which I am on, and it still needs to travel in its circle to get to you.
I am not seeing you in my future you are slightly in my past because the light has to travel from where you currently are to me. However, the meeting of you, me, and the earth is in all of our futures, but we can't see that, only imagine it and predict its time.

PS - please don't insult me by suggesting I am reciting present information. No one has asked me this question before and I'm working it out as I go along. I can't help it if it doesn't align with your ideas, I'm just telling it as it is. OK?

I apologise if you in some way think that was an insult Colin, I was not insulting you what so ever and do not ever insult so I presume ambiguity is sometimes a problem and I should be a bit more considerate with my content because of the ambiguity reason. It is not easy to ''cold'' write.

Firstly Colin, Photons are still only really a theory at this stage in ''time''', it would be subjective to say Photons exist and they are based on somebodies else's personal feelings, although I do not accept their existence or deny existence at this ''time'' because I remain open minded always.

''I am not seeing you in my future you are slightly in my past because the light has to travel from where you currently are to me. ''

What light do you see travelling from me to you?

By see I mean the objective uninfluenced by personal feeling and thought visual picture you see in your brain.

Do you accept the gin-clear visual is objective fact for all observers?

I am not confusing time and distance , I am just explaining badly like normal,

I will re-phrase, On the orbital path virtual time line we know where October is roughly , ok?

No. October is a date, the same everywhere in the universe, defined by the Universal Time Coordinated (Zulu) clocks around the world.

If you draw the earth's orbit, you know where the earth will be in October; if you draw a picture of England, you know where I will probably be in October; if you draw the orbit of Pluto, you know where it will be in October; if you draw the migration route of the swallows in my garden, you know where they will be in October. Not all the same place.

Do not confuse time with place, or elapsed time with distance. Keep your dimensions orthogonal or you will end up like Timey.

I thought you was joking with Zulu time until I looked it up.

What about Minkowski space-time and predictability of virtual time lines?

I am not confusing time with a place I am using prediction to intercept the path of the Earth and be there early before the Earth arrives, the Earth arrives in October but I arrive in the October position in July.  From the Earth objectively you would see me in your future path ahead of you, however both our clocks would still show July, however it is said that you are seeing me in my past, but how can that be true if you are seeing me in your future path and when you get to me our clocks will show the same date and time?

Navigation is no joke.

Our trajectories will cross but we will not meet. If this were not so, every crossroads, shipping lane and flight corridor would be full of scrap metal. At most, I'll be seeing where you were about 3 minutes ago, not 4 months.

Our trajectories would meet if we predicted the event timing and synchronised speed to this timing, a sniper shooting a moving target shows this to be true. Although I have got to admit a long range target has more room for error with the shot.

I know navigation is not a joke.

I will see you in your July orbital position , you would see me in your October orbital position, You are not seeing me in your past or future, you are seeing me in July and I am also in reality in July with you although I get the cold end of the ''stick''.

I am baffled as to why you have so many "Thanks" Maybe because some think your unreadable ambiguous posts contain some truth , which they do not!. You go making meaningless, convoluted posts, regardless of how many times you are informed by the members that what you write is utter nonsense!

I, on the other hand, am a new convert to thinking inside the Box. Lifechanging!

I arrived at the bus stop at 0830 this morning, but the timetable said the bus would not arrive until 0845. Thus in walking 0.5 miles from my house to the bus stop, I compressed time by 15 minutes. So my walking speed must have been 0.9996c or thereabouts. I called Team GB and was immediately offered a place in the Deluded Olympics, in any track event I fancy.

This afternoon I found an empty cement bag labelled "50 kg". I threw it more than 10 meters. Another phone call, and I can now choose any field event, weightlifting or wrestling.

Now I'm really, really drunk and the room is spinning. But obviously it isn't, so it must be me. Really fast! Not sure whether to apply for gymnastics in Brazil or to wait for the ice skating - one mustn't be greedy.
