When you make changes to your profile pressing 'change profile' should save them as your new settings.
Does this not work?

It is my "notifications" that will not work "not my setting".

I longer get any notification in my inbox that there has been a reply or a response to a post of mine.

I also see that the facilities to underline or enclose something in a quote is absent , only the mathematical symbols remain, is that just me that have noticed this?
