Strange amber lights over south Sydney
« on: 25/09/2016 14:13:12 »
Early this morning Sept 25, 16, at 1 am, I looked out over the calm and spring cool, and saw over either the Bankstown airport or military lands what looked like a storm at sea. But then I noticed the flashes were all in one area and reoccurring in the same places and were amber, not blue. One light looked like a strobe or search light. What are these things?

I have a digital camera, but didn't think of filming. Just checked again and this time there is a 4 second interval strobe.

Photographic evidence would be interesting. Those viewing it may be able to shed light on the cause of the phenomenon.
