OH NO NOT FRENCH!!!! LOL I am only learning and am very rusty, but I have 3 or is it 5 sets of learn french quickly!! LOL And 1 year under me belt in Highschool..LOL I am aweful It took me forever to write one big letter.. I am talking weeks here to write one letter! LOL It was a real Gift .. LOL I worked hard on it and still probably made tons of mistakes!!! LOL

Hmm.. Karen. My broadband is meant to be 8mg but it only gives about 1-2. So, its relatively fast still I guess. Tons better than dial-up

I think you will probably find that what you have bought (which is mostly all that is available at competitive prices that the average householder will pay) is adaptive rate broadband, which only promisses speeds up to 8mbps, but actually don't promise any speed at all (i.e. if you are lucky, you will get 8mbps, if you are unlucky, you may get 1mbps, depending on how far you are from the exchange, and the quality of the phone line you are using, and even how much electrical noise you have, how water logged the phone cable has got, etc.).

I was wondering george wasn't that kinda of the same thing Neil had put in and he had so much frustration with at first! I recall he was disappointed in the speed he ended up with also!.. Am I wrong or was his a broadband also!
