I was wondering george wasn't that kinda of the same thing Neil had put in and he had so much frustration with at first! I recall he was disappointed in the speed he ended up with also!.. Am I wrong or was his a broadband also!

Yep, and I had about a month of chaos after my 2Mbps link was upgraded to adaptive rate (up to 8Mbps), and this is not uncommon (I know several other people who went through the same headaches as their system was stabilised at the new rate).

It now appears as stable as it ever was (but I had to throw out the old ADSL modem, and replace it with a more modern modem).
