it's that time of year when stroking bees is full of fun:


... I luff stroking Bees.....you grab a dandelion or other type bee loving flower,
 hold it next to a beesy pollen collecting Bee and when Bee lands on it, it's so beesy collecting
 pollen, that you can stroke it's furry back !!!...my kids love me doing this....try it...
but don't blame me if it stings you !!...so be cautious !!..I mean, they have to Bee really peeved to do
that anyway eh ?...oh, and don't try putting a leash on it either..they hate that !!

Stroke a bee and bring joy to yourself !!

Absolutely I do it !!...

Of course you have to be very very careful but pick a bush where there are lots of busy bees being beesy and I guarantee you...that , with caution, ewe can get a bee to land on a flower and you can stroke it very gently !!...seriously !..it's well cool !!..after all..if they sting you...it's a death sentence for them !!....they really really do not want to sting you...only if you peeve them off BIG time !!.so...make sure it's always a bee that is already collecting pollen from a bush etc etc...

of course wasps are a different matter !!...they don't give a sod !!

.I remember being stung by a wasp just a couple of years ago....the bugger was down my shorts !!....though it stung me on the side thankfully !!...

wasp allergies are not as bad as bees, and no i take nothing for it. the doc just said oh you are alergic to wasp stings and do i need a sick note!

the last time i got stung, i was sneeking away from work an hour early. i just got a few yards down the road and this wasp flew down my t-shirt and got me. i had real trouble breathing and had to go back to work, it took ages for me to breath properly and i ended up leaving work 2 hours later. if i had left on time i would never have met that wasp....there must be a moral in all of that

yes, i snaked away earlier the next day. you have to think ahead of the wasp.

I haven't been stung for about 4-5 years. The last time I did, I got stung on the leg, where the kneecap is, but other side of the leg. It's really sensitive there, because your leg folds at that point. I almost died from the pain! Lol

Seriously...I have NEVER ever been stung by a bee when stroking it !!..it's not as if it lasts for a few minutes....it's just a few seconds and then it flys off to another flower.

In my life I have only been stung three times....twice by a wasp and once by a bee....and neither were related to my stroking them.

 They really do not even know it...you have to stroke them when they are gathering the pollen !...best thing to do is if you're really nervous then please wear some leather gloves for the first few times !!

I have stroked 100s of bees !!...LOL....Please believe me when I say I am quite sane !!...well..that's what my therapist says anyway !!..LOL

It won't sting your face cos you'll be holding the flower at arms length and stroking with the other also at arms length !!....well..I suggest as a precautionary measure you hire a suit of armour from ' Knights R Us '  []

this is awful about the breathing after ewe got stung paul !

I think the moral must be.......never get stung by a wasp unless for the few hours that you react to it you start a business as a ' heavy-breathe-agram ' !!

ah, i have isolated the problem. it would seem that the wasp is an intellegent thing. it deduced you had the shorts on for 30 days and knew this was its last chance to get in there as you were due your monthly bath and possibly change of shorts for the occasion.
