Hi seany,The question i am asking is why is it in fact difficult to fall pregnant when the premise for a species is to multiply ?....and secondly..why has nature decided to deal with the difficulty by giving us blokes millions of sperm..?...why not give us ten but make them real good swimmers ?...That's what me wants to know... []
HUMMMM another good question..Perhaps there is more over a reasonwhy there are so many spern and norma;;y 1 egg, multiple births being the exception.. perhaps to insure multiple eggs also have a chance at conception! Maybe more ssssperm are better swimmers in groups, perhaps they are competitive little fellows, or perhaps the amount of sperm somehow relates to the mans strong sex drive or something equally as silly! LOL Maybe it depends on the amount of stemuli the male feels as to how much sperm he produces... Is the amount the same with each ejaculation ? Does it vary with different stimuli, woman verses sample in a cup? You know what I mean.. are there the same number of sperm per event regaurdless of the motivation so to speak? Sorry for all the questions but would that actually change the outcome on the sperm count and if so why?
So, why is that then ?..why make the nature of procreation in fact quite difficult if the premise of a species is to multiply ?
I do believe you are correct as I have heard that similar thing.. although I don't recall the details! LOL Are you two safely home?

I find it odd that no one has touched on external factors that may reduce ferility. What about poor diet, lack of exercise, pollution, drugs, etc...
