There are very disquieting things happening in America. Children being separated from parents at the border. All immigrants immediately being prosecuted whether seeking asylum or not. The free press being called enemies of the state by the president. The republicans are scared to criticise Trump for fear of losing nominations. Isn't this how fascism takes hold? Trump is now attacking allies and praising brutal dictators. How will this all end?

I don't like the sound of nicking peoples children but maybe that is how fascism takes hold. However it will fall apart because soldiers will not carry out barbaric actions on their fellow humans who are innocents. I hope, believe a soldier has more morality than to follow the wrong sort of orders.
An authoritarian new world order would be a great thing imposed correctly. Dependent to the objectivity of the views.

Trump has used legislature meant for issues of national security to impose tariffs on US allies. He is now seeking to lift sanctions against both North Korea and Russia. The impacts are not confined to the United States. If we end up with a dictatorship in America that sides with the likes of Russia and North Korea then the world is in a very dangerous place. We then face a looming existential threat. Trump is too unpredictable for Putin. Once he establishes a dictatorship Putin loses leverage.

OMG, the US constitution is designed to resist fascism. It was designed as a more free way of social congress compared to the then English system of rule. There are "so many" checks and measures today that support freedom in the US. Trump won the election because the other candidates had problems that he didn't have in the eyes of the US public. I can understand the world would be miffed because Trump is trying to reign in the insanely huge US debt, but if he didn't do it, who would? He's right though in that the "allies" have been given a free pass for so many years......but you know are allies allies because they've been bought? That's fascism.

Politics is a very delicate game, and the world is better off without enemies, perceived enemies. Is he creating enemies imposing tarrifs to get the US out debt, or is he in fact creating a more stable overall global economy? Thats the question. Asia is very very new to the global economy, and having Asia predominate in commerce after only being in global economic school for a few decades is.....well....where's the trust, where's the years of knowledge there?

The problem with any leader on a national stage is that they're never perfect, they all have their flaws. They say this, they say that, they do this, they do that, things that make them them, things that define them and yet strangely make them most suited for the situation as the situation demands. Still, there "is" a tremendous amount of knit-picking going on which can lead one to think when they just view the knit-picking that he is unsuitable. Yet, he has been saying what he has been saying for years about the economy, trade, China, and the GOP.....and he is basically fulfilling all of that. Everything else is almost like a side-show.

You couldn't be more wrong and your logic couldn't be more skewed. The US debt is through trade concessions to the rest of the world, years of that. Trump appears to be putting corporate America on notice with his trade policies, and things are going to get tougher if he is serious. Corporate America mainly became over-rich, insanely, through trade concessions with nations like China. Are you suggesting the US is not interested in honouring its debt?

All Hillary got to say was "look, I'm a woman". Hardly newsworthy, and not a policy.  Surprisingly, though, it won the popular vote.
