I don't know how the bridge survived it, it's only a few years old.  Our roads didn't fare too well though.  Nice, eh?  Our house is about 2 football fields away from the road.

Oh my Gosh... That is horrible...The hurricane we had scared the holly crude out of me but weirdly enough all the energy made me feel hyper and exhilarated and alive.. it was weird! I wonder if that is adrenaline or fear, or actual electrical energy in the storm that causes that feeling!

Destruction is depressing....I am glad you were safe...I have a stepbrother named Dennis and I don't like him much!  About as much damage here that you see in the picture is as much damage as he has caused my mom in so many areas of her life...

I am so sorry about that! That is hard when families are like that!

Yes, it is, it is awful.  Now I have seen some earthquakes which have been pretty destructive and I am glad you guys haven't had any in a very long time.

Not any really big ones we have them everyday, but mostly very subtle unnoticeable..

Do you think it is unnoticeable as you are used to them?

They are pretty small. We had a 3. something or so last week others felt it I did not!

Oh, wow!  I would probably feel a 3 on the scale....but you are used to it then!

Its the 7.2's that knock you out of bed or onto the grond that scare you! LOL when you can hardly stand and you see the telephone poles lean way over like they are going to touch the ground then come way back the other direction and you can see the road worp out of shape and back into shape in front of your very eyes,Like big four ft, ripples.. I kid you not and when it stops the road is flat again.. we are talking pavement that has rolled like a wave in front of your eyes LOL Scary!

I can't imagine!  It would be scary!  So you did see one of these up close then, right?

Oh yes 3 of them one several hours after the first and then another in the middle of the night! we were all frightened those three were the biggest I have experienced!  You never forget the sight of concrete rolling up in front of you! cars rolling several feet back and forth it was a roller. not the jolt kind It Hit with a jolt and then rolled knocked me in the floor and I thought I was losing my balance and getting dizzy I was vacuuming the floor!

Crudola!  Whew!  What an experience!  I have never seen one other than on video...but in person would be quite the experience I am sure.

Oh Yes really scary the big ones.. The little ones make you take a position of safety cause sometimes the shake a little then BOOM they hit really hard and shake hard.. They are never the same as the one before in their movement, similar but different!

Well My grandparents and thousands of others say this is earthquake weather. we refer to the humidity that seems to be present right before it usually is warm but sticky not quite sultry, but then also a weird quietness before the quake.. animals behave weird also dogs and cats act neurotic.. it's weird I can't really explain.

Same weird quiet happens before a tornado arrives...then it sounds like a train!
