but when it went into the first stomach wouldn't it... no no wait... better question. how does it get from the first stomach back to their mouth and then into the second stomach? wouldn't it just go back to the first one and start some kind of continuous loop? nature is confusing sometimes

They are the rumen, reticulum, osmium, and Abomasum. So are we saying that the cows do not get high, because the "drug" would pass through one or more Of the compartments. Thus, in some way breaking down the "drug"?

Thus, in some way breaking down the "drug"?Thanks Paul I had always heard two stomachs Thanks for the correction.. 1 stomach 4 compartments, I had also heard that they kind of regurgitate their partialy digested food and then chew it again , (cud) then it goes to apparently another chamber? Not another stomach..So does it sort of work like a sive each compartment, breaking down certain aspects of the food into different stages for redeposit? (so to speak)
