How many molecules will hit a skin cell per hour?
« on: 13/03/2019 15:34:48 »
Hello

Can you help me develop a human body kinetics model please?

I want to know how many new molecules of a specific substance per hour will 'hit/touch' a single cell which is for example a cell in the dermis.

I would assume this is mainly dependent on the concentration of that substance in the body (or blood).

Can you help me please? Even a somehow justified estimate will help.

Thanks!

In principle you can do this yourself.

Or, for a less sophisticated model, you can simply assume that the substance behaves as an ideal gas.

Why do you want to know?

That's another of your "I want a list of all the numbers" posts.
