Dearest people Who enjoy drink !


This is a cola with ice !



Nice isn't it ?........makes ewe want to have a sip yes ?



But why does the ice ' crack ' when I pour the drink into it...?..I like the noise it makes !

but I don't know why it does it !!...do ewe ?

I'll share it with ewe if you tell me !!

Don't touch coke, wont touch coke, and no, it does not look inviting.

As for the ice, I suspect it is similar to the way miners used to crack rocks by setting a fire next to them - i.e. the ice hits the water, starts to get warm, but uneven heating causes the stresses within the ice to cause small cracks to form.

Heres a little experiment for you, Neily.

what you need

2 glasses
ice
cola

what you do

put ice straight from the freezer in the first glass and pour the cola in. the ice cracks and you get lots of fizzy bubbles.

Now, with glass 2. put the ice in but let it get wet, wet! yes, just wait a few seconds until it starts to melt. It is now not "dry" but "wet", pour your cola in.

what do your hear and see this time?

Here, no. in london, yes. But that is a long way and £100 trip to get a £1 bottle of rootbeer.
