My friend needs to adjust the handbrake on her 1993 Ford Orion. Does anyone know how to do it?

Michael,
 My son says there should be a cable running from the handbrake you will need to crawl under the car and follow the length of it until you find it comes into another cable, he believes the adjustment should be there , he thinks. Follow the cable from handbrake back towards the rear of the car. He said it should turn into two cables and normally that is where your adjustment or slack should be taken out. He said he does not believe the adjustment will be at the wheels. Look for the junction when it turns to two cables!  I hope that helps.

Yes...this is very easy to learn to do...even for a girly !!

To adjust it to ' ON ' she needs to hold it and press the button and pull up !!

To adjust it to ' Off' she needs to hold it and press the button and push down....VOILA !!


It MIGHT take a few tries....rememebr what gender we are dealing with here !!

well, in Australian it means goodlooking and handsome. an obvious referance to your goodself, Doc . I would guess it means something similar in American.

In England it has more to do with the male's part in fertilisation  [:I]
