May 2-4 is the biggest holiday in Canada. Also known as Victoria Day (Queens bday) it signifies the official start of the summer season: patios open, cottages, camping, drinking beer on sunny afternoons.

It is the light at the end of the tunnel after a long winter (although the past winter was pretty mild, well in Ontario... not so much for BC)

Oh and PS May 2-4 is named such because of the beer.

LOL!! LOL I should post a picture of one of my family members way back She was a princess from somewhere But I don't know where she married into the family way back.. LOL When I get my scanner I will try to find my pictures and post that one! Maybe someone will know who she is! LOL
