I think we need to know exactly what data was fed in to the computer, how this was obtained and the computer program. My impression is that not all the data had been used before a pattern was spotted. We would need to know what data was analysed first and how that data was chosen to be first. So the results are to an extent subjective. For example if the researchers had a hunch that the nicotinic cholinergic system was a major factor in covid 19 and they chose to feed data related to that first, then they may have found evidence for that hypothests and produced a very different report.
