My husband is presently having BCG into his bladder to treat his bladder cancer. Because of the BCG he is not allowed to have his flu jab as it contraindicated and he must wait at least 6 weeks following the treatment to have it. The treatment will go on for up to 3 years every few months. Are you aware that should he be offered the vaccine in the future, this would cause a similar issue?
